There's also another invading pest. The Glassy Winged Sharpshooter. This
bug carries Pierce's Disease that kills off grapevines. I only really
heard anything about it in the past few months. I hear grape growers are
particularly worried, because it can decimate their entire vineyard. It
spreads Pierce's Disease, which until the glassy winged sharpshooter
arrived (it originates in the Southeastern US), it didnt have an effective
carrier.
