Can anyone assist please?
After describing how we grow pepinos (Solanum muricatum) to a friend in
Washington State he is keen to try them, but it seems ridiculous for me
to make any attempt to send him material of any sort from here when I am
sure some of you people on or around the West Coast must already be
familiar with them and know of a source.
In case you don't know this common name it is also known as melonberry
or melon pear and hales originally from South America. The more or less
pear-sized fruits are produced on a fairly small narrow-leaved bush and
will grow in any climate where tomatoes will succeed.
If anybody knows of a source, could you kindly let me know and I will
pass the information on.
