Does anyone know a nursery in Spain that will mail Iris rhizomes of that
ubiquitous mauve bearded kind that is everywhere (including highway
plantings) in the Spring. I've no idea what it's called. Any bulb
nursery that mails orders outside Spain will do.
Dear Cali,
I think you are refrring to Iris pallida; The common type is
paleblue/mauve and there is also a white form; There are some iris
specialists here in the south of France which might have it
-Do you know where I could order the very common Spanish bearded Iris
(is it 'Ibericum'?) No I don't think it is I ibericum which is dark
purple, fairly small and rare.
Kind regards.
