Angela - Just to confirm what Joe and David have said and perhaps add a
slightly different perspective from a wetter climate. Here on the UK west
coast it spreads *and* self-seeds vigorously, though slugs and the
occasional frost keep it within bounds. And, yes, moist humid heat seems
indeed to be what this plant-Tigger likes. (UK ref! A.A. Milne's Tigger, v
bouncy character in the Pooh books, on discovering honey: 'Ah, so *that*'s
what Tiggers like...'!)
