I would like to thank everyone for their ideas on climbers for my fence.

At present, I have a hedge of Myoporum laetum growing close to the
boundary fence and the waste water runs (for about 10 metres) between
the hedge and the fence. However it never looked great perhaps due to
lack of light, no irrigation except for the pool backwash and rainfall.
So I want to replace this hedge in due course. The rest of the fence is
not affected by the backwash.
I am looking forward to checking out the local garden centres to see if
they have any the your recommendations available. Again many thanks.
