Re: Jujube

There is a commercial jujube grower not too far from me in one of San Diego's inland valleys. The trees are wonderful but with two main faults from my perspective. First, the branches are very thorny and second, the trees tend to send up suckers all around. I've tried growing them in pots but they are never terribly happy. Too bad since I too love the fruit!
