Update: Chamelaucium uncinatum

Hello,

Several requested information about the progress of this plant.  Chamelaucium uncinatum was planted in afternoon sun against a west facing wall with reflected sun early this spring.  Plant was extremely slow to survive transplant from it's pot (15 gallon) and does not like its roots disturbed when moved.  Just barely survived three summer months over 100 F.  At one point there were more bare branches than ones with leaves and I was ready to pull it out.  But now that the evening temperatures have dropped, it is putting on quite a bit of new leaves.  Plant would probably be better in a less sunny spot due to our extreme summer heat but I am afraid to move it since it doesn't like it's roots disturbed.  I have a maple tree planted a distance away that will eventually give it some afteroon sun relief - hopefully it will last till the maple gets large enough to give it some shade.
