Hello all,
At the beginning of spring I said I would update
about the progress of Adenanthos sericea after the
summer. Survived over 100 F for three months straight. Planted
morning sun in native decomposed granite soil that drains very well.
Watered every other day in summer - now down to once a
week. Has put on some new growth - not a huge amount - but no dead spots
and seems to be liking it's spot. I was reluctant to fertilize due to
extreme heat in summer but will put on fertilizer regime in early
spring.
