Re: Fall vegetables

Oi Alexandre -

Here are some of the vegetables I've grown over our California winters (not
very different from Portugal):

broccoli, broccolini, raab broccoli, cauliflower (white, green, yellow,
purple), kohlrabi, peas (snap and sugar), mustard, cabbage, Brussels sprouts,
kale, cavalo nero (Italian black kale), onions, garlic, shallots, artichokes,
celery, French celery, celeriac, perennial or shrubby herbs (lavender, savory,
winter savory, rosemary, oregano, etc.), swiss chard, and more!

BTW - I thought I'd mention that our cat goes crazy for French celery when it
comes into flower - once one of the flowering stems fell over and came to rest
on the paving next to the bed - Mia, our little tortoise-shell cat, would rub
on them any chance she would get and take naps curled up on top of these
stems! I smelled them myself and cannot see any similarity to catnip, but she
likes it just as much! I now let is self-seed here and there just for her
enjoyment!
