Re: Rain
Hello Tim,
(For non-locals, we live about 25 kms - 15-16 miles - from Tim, but
because we both live in a very hilly area, there are BIG differences in
local micro-climates.)

Here in Wainuiomata, we had 88 mm of rain on Saturday, when you got the
220 mm, and about 115 mm over Fri-Sat-Sun.
We've had a rain gauge for many years, and our annual average is about
1650 mm, ranging between about 1300 and 2000 mm

No problems here, we have a very stony soil that drains freely, but our
local small river must have been up about two meters, judging by the
"tide mark" of debris along the banks. It is still a bit high, but well
within normal limits.
