The software consists of three units:

Lexicon @ $99.00
Floristic Atlas @ $295.00
Biological Attributes @ 195.00

and the three together shipped as the Taxonomic Toolbox @ $495.00

The Lexicon is the digitized version of Dr. John Kartesz's 1994 Synonymized
Checklist and the NRCS database.

The Floristic Atlas is a set of digitized maps showing North America and
Greenland, excluding Mexico.  Data is broken down to state-level summaries
for 70 geographic areas.  Complex boolean searches are possible.  Zoom
capabilities on the maps will permit county-level and site-specific data to
be added for later editions.  An update with some of this information is
planned for summer 1998.

The Biological Attributes module has a fully-populated summary of 45 fields,
including morphological and specialized data such as toxicity and medicinal
value.  U. S. Forest Service regions are provided for taxa.  As with the
Atlas, complex boolean searches are possible.  

The Toolbox has all three combined, with a unified boolean search capability.
