My office in New York City tell me that a dozen or so requests have been
received for seeds of Zephyranthes citrina, the yellow 'rain lily'.
I had expected to return to NYC yesterday and get the seeds off today or
tomorrow to those who wrote for them, but am remaining at Nevis for
another week to finish repairing the dilapidations of Hurricane Georges.
So the seeds should be dispatched no later than the end of this month. If
no additional requests are received, there are sufficient seeds to send
at least a hundred to each (and more to Sean O'Hara who has a large plot
to plant). Some notes about germination and cultivation will be included
with the seeds.
Warm regards,
William Glover
