Barringtonia asiatica

Aloha all,
was looking to see if any one on this list has experiance with
Barringtonia asiatica, the fish poison tree. In my job we are looking into
the need for relocation of a 50 + year old tree. There are fears that the
move will be deterimental to the tree. Anyone have any suggestions? The
primary problem is that no one has info onthe tree as it is uncommon here
in Honolulu. I might want to try and see how well cuttings root to
determine the rate that roots will regenerate.
