Oh! Alessandra! Don't be bashful about your English! Your command of
this language is so masterful and total that Moira and I always have the
greatest difficulty in believing you are not an English or American
person who happens to live in Italy! If it were not for your given name,
(which is beautiful) we do not think we would believe it at all.
Sadly, neither of us has any facility with languages other than our
native tongue (we both managed - after a fashion - to speak the local
native language(s) when we lived in Africa, but not with complete
fluency), and we do always admire people who have that facility.
