Hi, Jan, Sean, and all the others

of course I was not offended by your very correct remarks about autumn
colors! Sometimes I find I just can't manage to express my feelings  truely
(don't forget this is not my mother tongue). It happens that  what I write
is misunderstood, specially when I add what I meant to be a touch of (dry)
humor,  but it reads like an embittered or hurt feeling.  Sorry if I sounded
touchy! And I did not mean to offend anyone else's plant scheme, color
combination or "American" taste (as opposed to "European" one). I enjoy this
list enormously and I like every now and then to throw in a question, just
to learn from the different answers, opinions, experiences and tastes! And I
learn a lot, of which I am very grateful.
I love you all, and I think of you as friends. This might sound a little too
much, but you know we Italians are passionate people, and after all with all
this dealing with Mediterranean plants, you probably by now learnt to
understand Mediterranean passions.
