My answer might come a little late, but I have a north facing wall where
Solanum jasminoides grows and blooms wonderfully. It is in bloom 11 months a
year, and it gets virtually no sun at all (the position is not really
sheltered, also). Ah, and we don't water that particular spot, the only
moisture it gets comes from a watered area 5 mt. apart. The plant is now
about 8 mt. wide and 5 mt. high.
As for other climber(s), did you think about the Passiflora tribe at all?
