Hello everyone-
For those of you interested in bamboo
and living in the San Francisco Bay area
(or further away but willing to travel);
the American Bamboo society's annual meeting
will be held October 14-17 from 8:30am to 4pm
at Hakone's Gardens, 21000 Big Basin Way, Saratoga, CA.
Workshops, information on growing and using bamboo,
and tours cost $135 for both days.
Bus tours of local bamboo gardens on October 14 and 17 cost $35.
The plant sale on Oct 16 starts at 11am and is free to the public.
The rare bamboo auction begins at 2:30pm.
