Occasionally I've been known to pen a few bon mots in order to keep
the bank happy, but I'm somewhat 'erratic' and can only write when I
really feel like it - not a always good thing for editors with a
dead-line and who want an easy life!

Glad you liked it. It seemed to go down fairly well with those who
can get their heads around the 'English sense of humour'.

Hope the weather holds up for you. I presume you mean back to Old
Blighty. Its not been at all bad recently although there looks to be
a break down of the dry, settled weather we've been having. Still it
remains passably warm and a quick wander around this morning revealed
yet more leaves breaking through on a clump of Alocasia as well as
new flower spikes on the Hedychiums opening - something I did not
think they would manage.
