Dave: Whoopee! A disaster I DIDN'T get! Makes a change. I wonder why
my dozy Cumbrian flies don't have this ecstatic autumnal reaction? Or
is it the Devonian ones which are dozy by having it? And, whichever,
why do they have the reaction in autumn and not in spring?? And I
thought PLANTS were strange.

Cheers from a radiant Solway Firth, where it's not only sunny, it's
positively warm: makes me feel uneasy...
