Okay, I know the gopher thread has been rather off-topic, but I have enjoyed
it ever so much. I have been inspired to once again try aviary mesh in the
new rock garden I am putting in. And I think I will rent Caddy shack
tonight.
A few brief comments: I am loathe to admit it, but gophers do actually
serve a purpose in some areas. They are extremely important in some alpine
and tundra areas as earth movers and aerators. There are some high altitude
plants that only grow in gopher areas.
Hard to believe.
