off topic; wasp sting remedies

Forgive me, this is off topic...yesterday I got a paper wasp sting on my
inner forearm and it's driving me nuts..itchy and achy..do you have any home
remedies to suggest?  Last night I used Benadryl (antihistamine) orally and
it put me to sleep before 9 pm.  Today the welt is gone but my forearm is
red and hard.  Topical antihistamine is not helping.  Help!
