What a great idea! I will check next time I go to our local site. On a side note: I wonder sometimes about the results of these yard waste composting projects... I only take the things that I don't want in my own compost, like blackberry as Diane mentioned, or ivy or seeding weeds -- and I feel guilty doing it. I try to hope that things will be composted in giant piles, at hot enough temperatures that my own yard nemesii won't be transplanted to someone else's garden. But I don't know if that's actually true. Is it better or worse than putting the stuff in the landfill? Opinions, please...
