For whatever reason, not all messages get to all people.
 
For example, I obviously got this message, but never got Diane's message that was being responded to.

I didn't send my original message to the whole list, but only to aol members.  When I sent it, I assumed aol was still blocking medit-plants, so a list message wouldn't have got through.  It appears that only two messages were blocked and things are fine now.

Several of our members who belong to aol have blocks that stop their receiving some of our messages.  For instance, one person blocks all messages from the owner, Sean O'Hara, several other California members, and New Zealand messages. South African messages get through to him, though.

  Here is the error message I get,

 550 "username" IS NOT ACCEPTING MAIL FROM THIS SENDER

This error indicates that the AOL Member has configured his account, possibly inadvertently, to only accept mail from certain addresses and/or domains on the Internet. Using Mail Controls he will have to modify those settings to receive mail from you. AOL Postmaster can not override these Member defined settings. We respect Member's privacy and their ability to control their own mail. Postmaster cannot forward the mail for you.
