Hello all,
This is the first time I have grown Lippia
graveolens, Mexican oregano, and I am very impressed with its shape and
performance (it has made it through 3 months of 100 degrees or more).
I planted it this spring from a 3 inch pot in full sun on a south
facing slope. It is now about three feet tall and wide and looks like a
small shrub. It has small, white, fragrant flowers along the
stems and the branches stream out and slightly upward from the center of the
plant like a large symetrical floral arrangement.
Has anyone else grown Lippia and what type of
cold weather can it handle? I am thinking about getting several more and
putting them in a shrub bed I am starting in my back yard this fall.
Thanks in advance for any cultural information.
