Re: Freesia and Monbretia seeds


I'd plant the freesia seeds now. I am zone 10 in Los Angeles. My species
freesias seed all over in both watered and unwatered areas. They're weeds,
in fact. They come up when they think it is time. I'm not sure how they
determine that.

I don't know about montbretias.  I am still trying to get rid of mine as
they bloomed sparcely, were attacked by some kind of munchers,  and spread
all over by underground "droopers" (from the corms).
