Well, it's a good thing I'm not allergic to it (no reactions despite
pruning wood from it and getting sawdust on my skin. I am not allergic
to Toxicodendron either) Also, mine is growing at the back of the
garden far from the house and is planted where I won't need to trim it
often at all. But, thanks for the warning. Any trimming will be done
with gloves and long sleeves to reduce exposure, just as I avoid
poison oak anyway since you can become sensitized to it with too much
exposure).
