This is just a thought but there is a website called helpx that might be able to help you, there are thousands of hosts all over the world who offer free accommodation and food in return for a few hours manual work. It is likely that you might find a host that is willing to offer this in exchange for mutual knowledge.

You will need to search the list of hosts to find someone with the same interests as yourself.
