Artemesia californica and books on RSA gardens

 Sorry everyone! In my query about A. californica I should of course have
written ' min of 20F' ,not 20C...I think in Farhenheit for warm temperatures
and Celcius for cold, then try to use Fahrenheit for posting to USA and
Celcius elsewhere...you can see why I get confused !
Nancy was asking about books on South African gardens..Veld and Flora, the
journal of the Botanical Society of South Africa has a classified section
which includes the addresses of a couple of bookstores there which stock
"all South African botanical/horticultural literature " and post world
-wide.There are also adverts for accomodation in places with interesting
gardens ,if you're going there,Nancy.  In the June issue there is mention of
a new PC Database,INDPLANT, which provides a botanical catalogue of
desirable species indigenous to South Africa and also horticultural
guidance.I'll look up further details if anyone wants them..email me if you do.
