Tim, I got some from a builder friend who uses it for insulation and
simply rinsed it through with hot water several times.  There are
several horticultural sources, but not now being in the trade and not
needing the quantities, it  is impractical for me to source it in this
way.  Several good washes are enough to get rid of unwanted
impurities.
