I went out in my yard and made a list of the flowers that I didn't remember
seeing listed by anyone else. No doubt I missed some letters and will repeat
 what's already been mentioned.

Blues: Sollya heterophylla, Tweedia caerulea, Salvia cacaliafolia, S.
 guaranitica 'Omaha',

Blue/purple: Salvia clevelandii, Solanum aviculare, S. dulcamara, S.
rantonnetti(now Lycianthes?) Iochroma cyaneum, I. fushoides, I. grandiflora,
the berries of Dianella tasmanica, misc. Lavenders and Rosemarys, and
Oreganums and Geraniums, Verbena bonariensis, Liriopes.

Pink/red: Anemone japonica (also white) Dianthus sp.

Orange/yellow: Crocosmias, Hedychium gardneranum, Oxalis spiralis,
Ornithagalon dubium, Misc. Pelargoniums, Dietes bicolor, Abutilons

Whites: Silene sp, Oxalis sp, Dietes sp. Lemon verbena (can't remember it's
Latin name)

Now I realize that some of these plants may live with little or no summer water

in Oakland where the summers are pretty cool, they might not classify as
'Mediterranean' elsewhere. My spelling needs checking , too.

I hope someone makes a master list of all the plants we all have listed and
posts it.

That's all I can think of for now.

Liz W.

This letter was returned to me with a long unwieldy explanation that went over
my head so I'm sending it again. Liz
