hello,

I just have to add my two cents worth even though this is hardly a
med-plant topic. My husband and I recently were in Atlanta for job
interviews. The three times we made car and restaurant reservations
under my husband's surname of Lopez, the response always was "How do you
spell that?" The first time that happened, I was so taken by surprise
that I momentarily forgot how to spell Lopez :) This question rarely is
asked in California! I always forget how big the U.S. is
until I travel away from my state and realize that what I take for granted
or assume is commonplace turns out to be an odditiy somewhere else.
