Thanks for putting me right on this one. Haven't had to do with Kikuyu
since leaving Africa. It seems to be unknown in the Wellington district,
though I know it is common round Auckland. You did well to get rid of
couch by mulching, but I doubt ANYTHING but direct destruction will cope
with convolvulus. I once kept it entirely under mulch for two years and
then it came right back!!
