Personally i wouldn't eat the flour made from the seeds (Acorn meal is
much safer since you just need to remove the tannic acid). I also think
its not really worth the trouble if you are not starving :). I hear the
natives here used to use the seeds to stupefy fish (Which is illegal to do
I hear), and Aesculus californica is toxic to bees (the fragrance from the
flowers is nice, however).
