Re: Eating Aesculus californica seeds?


Several books on hand say that roasting, steaming in a pit, and/or boiling
and leaching will produce edible pulp from Aesculus nuts.  Seems like only
those who plan to be starving or who have time on their hands would want to
go to the trouble...
