Kay - I've only HEARD of the Sunset system, have never studied it in
detail. On the face of it, it sounds like a possibly better bet than
the USDA system.
Re copyright: is it possible to copyright such a system? I'm no expert
on copyright law but I'd hardly have thought so. What, anyway, would
be the point in so doing? No one's going to PAY to make use of it,
surely? And if not, then the only point in the system, as far as its
originators are concerned, is presumably as a publicity tool, to
spread their name - so the more people who make use of it the better.
Comments, anyone?
How would the Sunset system cope with a climate like mine, for
instance, with its -3C winter low (often not as low as that) and its
28C summer high (often not as high as that), its masses of year round
rain and wind?
Don't need to tell you what the weather's like here today....
