Re: Lacewings



I believe you can help more lacewings overwinter in your
garden by making a little house for them and stuffing it
full of straw.  They apparently crawl in and spend the
winter all cosy and snug!

Hi Betty, You don't need to look far as they are probably
already around.
Just provide them with habitat and don't spray poisons. When
you spray for
the bad guys you kill the good guys. I wouldn't purchase
them as there are
plenty in your neighborhood already. If you are spraying it
doesn't make
sense to purchase them as you will kill them also. And yes
they really like
aphids, as do the ladybug and their larvae.
