Am sure I heard somewhere that garlic planted as a 'companion' plant will
deter aphids - if this is so, I wonder if garlic powder used in the
greenhouse would keep aphids out? I think I could stand the smell in the
greenhouse :-).

An interesting note about herbal dusting, is that I tried garlic powder and
it too
keeps damping off to a minimun, but........ beware of the smell. Your whole
house
will smell like garlic, and that is too much to wish on anyone. CHAR
