Judy,
I am attempting to grow blettila orchids. They are supposed to hardy with
protection to Zone 5. Mine is sprouting this spring so there is hope after 4
years that I might be accomplishing something. It grew very slowly, but the
sprout this spring looks a lot healthier. I was told that they take awhile to
get established.
If you are in Zone 7 or higher the pleione orchids might do ok for you.
