Hi Judy...welcome to Perennials.
The only one I grow is Bletilla striata - find it easy in part sun -
actually only gets about 2 hours of direct sun a day - and good soil
that doesn't dry out too much. My group, who have been expanding
steadily over the years, is in a very large raised planter - lovely
plants of whom I am quite fond. Foliage often gets nipped at the
ends by frost as they insist on emerging just a tad too early.
