Reading your frustrations at the weather certainly struck a familiar cord
this side of the Atlantic, this must have been the longest, wettest, most
overcast, depressing winters I have ever known!
BUT !!!!!
We have just had 4 consequetive days when it didn't rain, well only drizzle,
and some SUN, it makes so much difference, the daffs are out, primroses,
Violets and wood anemone, and you get this great surge of enthusiasm youself,
which is just as well as you see the thirty-six jobs that need doing
yesterday, but who cares, it just makes your heart glad.
I hope you don't have too long to wait for your spring!
and Gene I enjoyed your piece in NARGS bulletin on Uvularia's I am hoping for
some from seed recently sown.
