Hi Gerry,
I don't know about a web site but I grow some ivies and in particular hedera
helix 'Gold Heart'. I put in on a westfacing wall and it took a long time to
set up, perhaps 3 years or so, and it's only 3 meters high after 10 years
For me it's very easy to handle, but I advise you to put it on a north or
eastfacing wall, because the sun scortches the gold colored leaves.
Anyway, I do prefer the hedera helix 'Buttercup',for the nice color, less
flashy and it is a lesser grower, if you're still afraid of the 'Gold Heart
invasion.
