My info on Angelica gigas, a plant native to Korea is that it is a "biennial
or short lived perennial". Which one? There is a difference. My experience is
biennial in my zone 6b garden.
As for Eupatorium maculatum 'Gateway' , a terrific architectural plant that
does well in moist areas, should easily get 5/6 feet. Grow it! You'll love it.
