Re: Mantis tiller

I have a tiny Husqvarna that I use at work. It has seen a lot of use and I really have no complants about it.
However I got it to replace a tiny electric start Ariens that I liked even better. The Ariens seemed to have a bit more power and was lighter. Our local supplier claimed that they were no longer made.
I have only used a Mantis briefly and although it seemed great to use (possibly better than either of the above), it seemd a bit too light wieght and I wondered about it's durability. I was unable to get one locally.
At any rate both the Husky and the Ariens have been a boon on the job, used almost every day (in spring at least) and I can't imagine being without a good tiny tiller.
Hope this helps.

We bought a Husqvarna for less than that. Closer to $200, as I recall.

G'Day, Margaret --
Can you tell us more about the Husqvarna?
We bought a Mantis b/c everybody raved about it in past postings on this list.
But we didn't look over the competition.
At least I didn't b/c I don't know the difference between "this" and "that."
