Discussions on wisteria had me thinking 'no way in my garden'.
Unfortunately, I saw amethyst falls. A local nursery is carrying it,
claiming to be hardy here is Zone5, starts blooming the first year and
repeats its flowering 2 or 3 more times during the summer. And of course
there is one blooming in the greenhouse. :) Anyone have experience with
this variety?
Question 2... My mother surprised me and bought me an Easter Present..
(thinking I am bit old for the Easter bunny to come see but---) she has
purchased a tri-color beech tree. She has delayed delivery of it for a
month or so due to living in zone 5. So anyone have experience with this
tree? What does it need to survive. I have always admired this tree, but
never seen it in my area till last year. All places found seemed to be
well protected, where I am in the wind, cold and whatever.
Well I am off to work-- so will catch up when I get home.
Thanks in advance for any help :)
