this morning I noticed my hellebores (2 purple 2 white
of unknown variety) are beginning to have plumping of
the seed pods of a few flowers-other flowers are
brushy with poen. Is this the time for me to take a
fresh painbrush and try to distribute pollen to the
seeds on blooms yet not showing need? I want to try
mixing from the white helleborus to the putple ones
and collect seed this year. I am planning a largish
coldframe on the norths ide of the house and have
space to set out pots for the several years it takes
these babies to grow.
Any help welcome. I have read in my From Seed to
Plant bible and have need of more direct info.
Thanks
