Graham-I don't know how things are in the UK, but in my part of North
America, what's being sold as Johnson's Blue is definitely not sterile. I
wish it were. It looks suspiciously to me as if we are getting G. pratense
labelled as Johnson's Blue. I have yet to talk to any gardener in Canada
who has the so called Johnson's Blue that isn't getting a mass of self sown
seedlings.
The real Johnson's Blue may be out there in Canada-but I have yet to see
one.
