Kate, when I am going to be out gardening or in the bushes for a good part of
the day, I put on powdered sulfur to repel ticks and chiggers. It is also good
if you get a chigger bite, put something oily on it first for the sulfur to
stick to. This will kill the chigger and get rid of the bump a lot quicker.
