Re: Epimediums

I checked again today, and there are a couple of thing poking through...Irises, but no sign of the tulips, trilliums, crocus or much else except sedum starting to show. Saw something else but I can't remember what I planted there. I WILL get some winter aconite this year. Have been promising myself for a couple of years now.
The strange thing I've noticed for a couple of years is that things seem to poke up a week or so later then my all my neighbors, but maybe that's due to the big trees on my lot? Even that little bit of green made me feel better though!

That's surprising to me, Lillian. I realize zone 5 in Indiana is not the
same as Zone 5 everywhere else, but I'd think you'd be green by now,
especially since I'm more of a Zone 5a. We will see-saw through April, may
even get a bit of snow again, but things are budding out. Do you plant
crocus, reticulata Iris, snowdrops, Hellebores, winter aconites, glory of
the snow? These cuties will bloom early even if it is brown all around.

but I was driving too fast to see what it was. This shade of brown is

than all the snow. Just looks Yuck! I can't even find where my epimediums
are, let alone anything else spring-like. I know I have to be patient for

couple more weeks, but sure do envy you with stuff coming through.
