Re: Epimediums


I love spring wildflowers.  Our CES has display gardens surrounding it
maintained by MGs. The "Woodland Fen" people refuse to grow them, though I
have kept trying to get them interested.  Problem, is, they bury the garden
under heaps of leaves in the fall and don't uncover it until long past time
to enjoy these plants. Their Hellebores are still buried - and mine are in
full bloom!  They've allowed their trilliums to just die out.  A few Epis
are still hanging in there.  They are more interested in their ferns and
hostas.  It's a pretty enough garden, but they have no interest in its
spring potential.
