Have any of you found a satisfactory (or even close to it) garden journal in which you can record what is planted where and how it is doing for at least five years. My Gardeners' Journal disappeared while I was sick for a year and someone "cleaned up" my computer and I have to start again.
All suggestions would be appreciated.
Nancy,
I have been using a free program called Advanced Diary, available at http://www.CSoftLab.com . It's a surprisingly full-featured diary program for free software. It even will let me add images, tables, format text nicely, and search for any word. And you can set up different files to track your garden activities separately from other interests.
You might want to take a look at it. I don't have any relationship with them, just have been happy with the program. They seem to be pretty responsive, too. In an earlier version, I had a problem with the search, and wrote an email, which was responded to within a day. They made a fix to the program and it is working just fine now.
